About the Grants
Heating grants in the United Kingdom are available towards the cost of a Replacement Boiler or full Central Heating system. The heating grants are part of a Government-backed scheme called the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO). In some cases, they can cover the full cost of the work and nothing needs to be repaid.

Heating grants can also be claimed to replace inefficient or faulty Electric Storage Heaters.
Free Insulation grants are available to install Cavity Wall Insulation,Loft Insulation and Room in Roof Insulation. All private UK householders, in receipt of a qualifying income or disability-related benefit can qualify. As long as you own or privately rent the property and it is currently occupied i.e. not under renovation, you should qualify for an Free Insulation Grant. Home Insulation Grants do not have to be paid back. As long as you qualify, an installer will complete the work then claim the grant to cover the cost of the work.
